Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Denarius (Silver, 21 mm, 3.67 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in Spain (Colonia Caesaraugusta?), circa 19-18 BC. CAESAR AVGVSTVS Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. Round shield inscribed S•P•Q•R / CL•V in two lines. BMC 334. Cohen 294. RIC 42a. Well centered and attractively toned. Banker's mark on the obverse and the reverse weakly struck and with a scratch, otherwise, good fine.
